چکیده
Abstract In the current work, thermal stability of eutectic regions and precipitation mechanical behaviour near high-entropy alloy is studied. The solidified as FCC underwent sequential ordering to L1 2 with order–disorder transition temperature between 700°C 1000°C. Cooling rate, variation in concentration boundary layer, gradient interfacial energy were attributed define morphology (L1 B2). Lamellar degradation occurred via mechanisms like cylinderization, edge spheroidization, termination migration splitting. experimental observations on evolution, transformation matched well CALPHAD predictions except for σ formation. during enhanced However, work hardening rate superior as-cast

Microstructural Evolution of AlCoCrFeNiSi High-Entropy Alloy Powder during Mechanical Alloying and Its Coating Performance
High-entropy alloys (HEAs) are promising structural materials due to their excellent comprehensive performances. The use of mechanically alloyed powders to deposit HEA coatings through atmospheric plasma spraying (APS) is an effective approach that can broaden the application areas of the HEAs. In this paper, a ductility-brittleness AlCoCrFeNiSi system was chosen as an object of study, and the ...
متن کاملEffect of Mechanical Alloying and Sintering on Phase Transformation, Microstructural Evolution, Mechanical Properties and Density of Zr-Cr Alloy
The purpose of present research was production ofZr-based alloy as the nuclear fuel cladding by mechanical alloying (MA) and sintering process. Firstly, Zr and Cr powders were mechanically alloyed to produce the refractory and hard Zr-10 wt% Cr alloy, and then, the powder mixtures were consolidated by press and following sintering at temperature of 800˚C min. The phase evolution, microstructura...

In spite of excellent corrosion resistance, good ductility and low cost of AISI 316 austenitic stainless steel, the low hardness and poor mechanical charecteristic of material restricts its applicability in several industrial services. To improve upon mechanical properties AlFeCuCrCoNi-WC10 high-entropy alloy coatings were deposited via laser cladding on austentic stainless steel AISI 316 subst...
متن کامل“ Microstructural and mechanical properties of eutectic Al – Si alloy with grain refined and modified using gravity - die and sand casting ”
This paper attempts to investigate the influence of the microstructure and mechanical property changes on sand casting and permanent die casting alloys by grain refinement, modification combined action of both (Al– 3Ti–1B + Al–10Sr) and without grain refinement and modification effect. The microstructures of the castings are studied by optical microscopes. The microstructure and mechanical prop...
متن کاملMechanical properties and microstructural evolution of vacuum hot-pressed titanium and Ti-6Al-7Nb alloy.
Hot-pressing is a powder metallurgy process where loose powder is loaded into a mould, usually of graphite, and sintered by the simultaneous application of high temperature and pressure. In this study elemental titanium and Ti-6Al-7Nb alloy powders are hot-pressed under different conditions in order to study the influence of the processing parameters on the microstructure and mechanical propert...
